personally i find this suit to be lacking a purpose on the battlefield my standard Assault type-II suit > my advanced logi suit
Logi is slow (got a slight speed buff so this is good) stamina still sucks this needs a buff imho, as a logistics guy ur always gonna be running to support teammates so why does he get tired so fast?
slow + squishy + little stamina = bad ur better off using an assault or 2 and spread the gear around tbh
sure u can use armor plates to give it more tank.....but that slows it down even more -_-
whats the point of the hack bonus if the suit is slow and runs out of stamina fast? the assaults and better yet the scouts will get to objectives and behind enemy lines faster to do these quick hack jobs.
I still dont think Logi should be as fast as an assault suit but stamina wise it needs a buff imo
thoughts on making the logistics have a bigger impact on the battlefield? bigger bonus to using reps? |

Abron Garr wrote:I made a similar thread a few weeks ago. This build is still new so I'm giving it time to settle. The logi suit is just outshined by other suits. If you want to heal, Assault does it better and you're not gimped if you are in a firefight. I'm still healing and reviving people better in my Assault suit than in a logi suit- without sacrificing my K/D. Here was the discussion.
that is the problem currently im suffering through with the logi suit but i know i can be a better support with another suit
@ the guy who wanted light, heavy and medium logi.....CCP did say they are no classes and u can use the suits and use them conventionally i.e. scout as sniper or u can make a fast logi guy with the scout suit using rep and nano injectors
this is where i feel the logistics suit as a whole lacks something, u can be better support with other suits but u cant even switch up and use the logi as a tanky front line suit
4 equipment slots is all well and nice and 8 module slots as well but proto assault gets 7 module slots and 2 equipment slots i believe so might as well have 2 proto assaults handle the logi tasks and still have a better survival rate cuz they wont be as slow or squishy |

Seran Jinkar wrote:Well don't use it then! When it boils down to equipment versatility it's still the best with 3 equipment slots. Well at least I'm content with getting 30 to 40k SP a match. The KDR may not be the best, but even the standard suit allows you to place uplinks, revive and rearm. I see the logistics II as a niche products though. That's where I do agree with OP as the Type II is just some kind of cheap and squishy Assault Suit as it's neither strong or fast enough to be useful compared to other classes.
u do realise the assault suit has 2 slots right? scout type-II has 2 slots as well
the equipment slots arent really a big deal when a party system is in place others can share that 1-2 missing slot with someone else all while being very fast or faster with more tank as well and more stamina. So when it comes to actually supporting the team the current logistics suits have a hard time keepin up with peeps because they are slow and burn stamina quickly making them suffer all while being squishy so chances of crossin a battlefield to revive a downed teammate or rep a tank is highly unlikely as u are an out of shape squishy target
imho logi if they are keepin the speed and stamina intact should have more tank than an assault suit |

the slowest man SHOULD be a heavy. if heavies didn't suck, logi's low mobility wouldn't be a huge problem.
the weak defenses are the main problem as i see it. the loss of the sidearm is already a huge gimp to offensive versatility, but that gels with the role. weak defense isn't really fair though. you can't help anybody if you're dead....
i'm willing to wait a bit and see though. ccp recently buffed logi shields, so it's really only gimp in armor now. and at advanced and prototype tier they get better slot layouts than assault. combined with their extra PG/CPU a reasonable tank on a high end logi is probably possible. the only issue is it would sorta need to use armor plates, which exacerbate the low mobility to a point where it might become a serious issue.
so logi might still be a little weak, but i think it's close enough to let it play out a while
im using advanced logi suits and my standard type-II assault > advanced logi i agree u cant help anyone if ur dead id love to see an increase in armor possibly more than the assault so it can compensate for low movement, sprint speed and stamina |

There is a lot they could do but this suit still needs to be less fragile and as you said more unique.
Command suits with command modules will do this AoE stuff so still logi has no place on the battlefield that another suit cant do better |
